You have a wonderful site. I am also a technology lab teacher, and your blog gave me some wonderful ideas. I was wondering, though. Do you give your students access to your Twitter account to type in their Tweets, or do you go back and type them in?
Hey Sherry! So glad you like our site. I do not give my kids my username and password for Twitter nor do I have them Tweet while I’m signed in. I collect their Tweets using a Google form and then post them after I’ve reviewed them. I’ve set the spreadsheet that collects their Google form responses to email me when there’s a new submission. This way they can Tweet whenever they like.
Hey Emily! I was at TCEA. I wanted to look over your powerpoint or presentation to see that video at the end with the skiier. I still could not access it. Did you happen to get it on TCEA app yet?
I started following your twitter today after Fitt7. There usually aren’t a lot of ideas presented to get technology into our Kinder’s hands so I was excited to troll your twitter. Do you give presentations or workshops with the things you use in White Oak?
Yes I do! I’m presenting at TCEA this year for sure and I’ve presented for some neighboring districts as well. Feel free to contact me at richesone@woisd.net or on Twitter. Thanks for reaching out!
